Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including, muscles, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments. An RMT (registered massage therapist) in an individual who is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Theses highly trained professionals are here to help you recover from injury, maintenance to prevent injury and over all well being.

Chiropractic

A hands on, evidence based, non invasive health care discipline that focuses on the musculoskeletal system. Chiropractors primarily use their hands to provide diagnosis , treatment and preventative care for disorders related to the nervous system and joints of the whole body.

Melissa Doggett RMT

Melissa Doggett is a Registered Massage Therapist practicing out of Oshawa, Ontario area. She has a university background, majoring in Kinesiology from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. She obtained her Massage Therapy degree from the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy. As a massage therapist, Melissa treats a variety of ailments, from acute injuries to chronic pain and discomfort arising from numerous causes. Melissa believes in an integrative approach including hands-on massage treatment combined with home care, including stretching and strengthening the muscles, as well as postural adaptations made in the work place and in everyday life. Melissa offers massage therapy sessions ranging from relaxing Swedish massage, to in depth therapeutic treatments.
